Ambassadori Batumi Island is an 84-hectare development of two artificial peninsulas and an island being built in the sea at the northern entrance of Batumi, next to the city port. The developer is Ambassadori Group, a Georgian hospitality company operating since 2004, working with Arup (masterplan), Yüksel Proje (coastal engineering) and SHoP Architects (design guidelines). By mid-2026, 48 of 84 hectares of land had been created and the first 26-hectare phase was state-commissioned in September 2025. The first residential building, First Tower (58 floors, about 1,325 apartments), is under construction with completion stated for 2029. The full island program, including a marina, schools, retail and recreation areas, is planned through 2035.

Who is the developer and what have they built before?

Ambassadori Group, a Georgian hospitality company operating since 2004. Completed assets include the Ambassadori Tbilisi Hotel, the Ambassadori Kachreti Golf Resort, and the Villa Ambassadori villa complex in Kachreti (completed 2020). First Tower is the group's first residential high-rise.
